Kirra Galleries opened in 1997 and for more than a decade now, have focused on building the finest commercial exhibition galleries focussing on glass, sculpture and jewellery artworks in Australia. They now have an established reputation as leaders in the Australian Contemporary Art Glass Movement.

Kirra Galleries showcase the most comprehensive  collection of Australian Art Glass seen anywhere in the world, as well as collections of handmade jewellery, ceramics, timber and sculpture all made by Australian artists from the finest materials.

Kirra Galleries hold a number of exhibitions each year highlighting the incredible diversity of Australian art glass as well as works by artists working in a variety of different media.

Kirra Galleries also have an active involvement with clients, consultants, corporations and artists to commission works for all situations in private, public, or commercial spaces.

KIRRA GALLERIES:

• Seek to showcase exclusively Australian artists and their works ranging from highly collectable Australian Art Glass creations –large and small, to the more affordable and accessible works. 

• Mount annual exhibition programs which showcase artists in the Australian contemporary art Glass movement to collectors and the public. 

• Support, foster and exhibit the works of emerging artists from the Glass studios of various Australian institutions with the aim of building their profiles and helping to establish them in the Australian artistic environment. 

• Continue regular participation at the internationally acclaimed SOFA expo in Chicago USA, which allows the wider international art communities to see firsthand works of some of Australia’s finest established and emerging artists. Kirra Galleries are looking to expand the global visibility of Australian artists via other internationally renowned Exhibitions/expos.
